Building Booking Form

Building Terms of Use Policy

While the building facility has been built for the work and ministry of Stranmillis Evangelical Church we are pleased to share our facilities with other organisations whose aims and objectives are in accord with our own. All outside organisations using the building are subject to prior approval by the Session and Deacons Board of the church. Priority of use will go to the regular group meetings of the church. Additionally SEPC reserves the right to alter or cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

All organisations are asked to submit a booking form, and confirm that they have received a copy of these terms of use. There is no standard charge for the use of the facilities, however any donations to cover lighting, heating and cleaning costs are most welcome.

Keys will be the responsibility of the person named on the booking form and must be returned promptly after use to Ken Hannah.

Building users are welcome to use the facilities as agreed. Other rooms should not be used, as they may be required by other organisations. Kitchen facilities can be used, but all food and beverages must be brought in, rather than using church supplies. All areas used must be left in a clean and tidy condition, with tables, chairs and other furnishings returned to their original places. Any damage should be reported as soon as possible to the property convenor.

Use of alcohol, drugs and tobacco are not permitted on church premises. Open flames and candles are also not permitted.

Children are welcome in the church building, but should be supervised at all times. Children should not be permitted to roam the building unaccompanied.

Lights and other equipment used should be turned off after use, and doors locked on leaving. The alarm system should be left as agreed, depending on other usage of the building at the time.

Organisations using the church facilities do so at their own risk, and are asked to arrange their own liability insurance. Stranmillis EPC do not accept liability for any accident or injury on the premises. Proof of public liability insurance is required prior to use of the building.
